Urdu poetry - Great Poetry

bewafa dil


Hai chodh mujhe jala gaya dil

Hai is se zyada bewafa dil

Dildaar ke kheenchne paday naaz

Afsoos ke mere pass tha dil

Yeh dushman-e-jaan tumhein mubarak

Yani nahi mere kaam ka dil

Kyun daawa-e-dil zabaani itna

Maayal idhar aap hi howa dil

Deta hoon dum aise fitna-gar per

Insaaf se dekhna mera dil

Is chashm ne kar diya qaraab aah

Tha warna buhat hi parsaa dil

Kaisi meri per bann aayi

Allah bigad gaya hai kya dil

Ghonte hai koi gale ko her dum

Kya baat karon ke hai qafa dil

Hai muharrim raaz kya kahon mein

Kis aafat-e-jaan se laga hai dil

Aye maunus ghum-gasaar her dum

Kya pooche hai kyun ke le gaya dil
