Perde may hai rashq maah mera

 

                                                   

Perde may hai rashq maah mera

Kyun kar na ho din siyaah mera

Kya marne ke baad paawon phailaayein

Hai muqbara khwaabgaah mera

Is sadd sikandari ko todo

Aaina hai sang-e-raah mera

Bus aap may aawo tum ke shaayad

Ho dil may guzaar-gaah mera

Mein kashta shaheed be-dait hoon

Hai shauq-e-sitam gawaah mera

Dekha tu n eke rang badla

Aai shaukh fasun nigaah mera

Merna nahi iqtiyaar ki baat

Khud gurm hai uzr-khwaa mera

Aye dost haath se chala mein

Qaaboo may nahi dil aah mera

Aye chaaragar ab toh phainkh tabreed

Hai haal bahut tabaah mera

Naaseh insaaf tu hi kar yaar

Dil de ne may kya gunaah mera.
