Kismat hi muqaalif hai

 

Kismat hi muqaalif hai faqt ishq apni

Ne yaar muqaalif hai na aghyaar muqaalif

 

Kyun waadi-e-wehshat may na khatka rahe mujhko

Her jhaad hai dushman mera her qaar muqaalif

 

Ho sulah kul aye dil ke sabb uth jaye ladayi

Kaafir na muqaalif ho na deendaar muqaalif

 

Bargashta zamana zafar aisa howa humse

Jo yaar muwafiq thay woh hain yaar muqaalif
